The Lyndon House Arts Center welcomes the community for Exhibitions and Saturday Celebration honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. The Visions of MLK Art Exhibition will feature a collaborative project by youth of the Pinewoods neighborhood inspired by Faith Ringgold’s Story Quilts in addition to works by collaborative artist teams who combine poetic words and visual works to interpret and communicate powerful ideas.  Also on view, in its last day, is Connect; the Clarke County School District Student Art Exhibit featuring art by over 400 children living in Athens.  
Organized by Montu Miller, the live performances presented, is entering its 11th year as a supporting event associated with the public initiative, “Make It A Day On, Not A Day Off Day of Service.”
Special Performances by WiseXpressions Dance Studio, Devas Tigerettes, Rhema Christian Fellowship-Athens, Out of the Box Dance Crew, Stella Groove, Seline Haze, The Talented Mr. Winfrey featuring Billy D. Brell, S.H.E.D., Life the Griot, Kxng Blanco, Supreme XIV, Ishues, Eric Thönnesen, Mokah Jasmine Johnson, On Fire For God, Lingua Franca, L.G., Squalle, DK
