Summer: An exhibition presented by the Ladies' Garden Club

The first formal garden club in America, the Ladies' Garden Club of Athens is presenting this exhibition in recognition of its 125th year. Show includes work by Annie Laurie Dodd and focuses on this year’s featured flower, the Rose.
Original works by Annie Laurie Dodd, members of the Athens Art Association and Athens Area Porcelain Artists will be on display in the Lyndon House Arts Center ’s West Gallery. A weekly seasonal bouquet arranged by Ladies’ Garden Club members will also be a highlight of the event.
Annie Laurie Dodd is the signature artist of this exhibition. Her paintings are inspired by a love of nature throughout her life. Annie Laurie has exhibited her work in numerous venues, including the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, the Chattahoochee Valley Museum in LaGrange and Brenau College in Gainesville.
Summer will be on view during regular gallery hours: Tuesday & Thursday from noon until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.
Reception: Thursday, May 21, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
