43rd Juried Exhibition

The Lyndon House Arts Center and Lyndon House Arts Foundation, are pleased to announce Wassan Al-Khudhairi, Chief Curator at Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis as the Guest Juror for the 43rd Juried Exhibition.


Al-Khudhairi received her BA in Art History from Georgia State University and M.A. with distinction in Islamic Art and Architecture from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. Al-Khudhairi is of Iraqi origin and has lived in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the U.K. and the U.S., where she worked at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and the Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York.  Prior to her position as Chief Curator at the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, Wassan Al-Khudhairi was the curator of modern and contemporary art at the Birmingham Museum of Art in Alabama. This fall she traveled to Taiwan where she curated the 2017 Asian Art Biennial.
