Lyndon House Arts Center is pleased to announce Ms. Susan Krane, Oshman Executive Director of the San Jose Museum of Art, as the Juror for the 42nd Annual Juried Exhibition slated to open on March 23rd, 2017.

Susan Krane has been the Executive Director at the San Jose Museum of Art since 2008.  She is a seasoned museum professional with particular experience in expansive programming and community engagement. She has fostered broad, cross-disciplinary approaches to contemporary art and has built civic dialog within the museum context. 

Susan Krane, formerly the Director at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and the University of Colorado Art Museum,  was the Curator  of Modern and Contemporary Art at the High Museum of Art from 1987 – 1995. She has authored numerous publications, organized over 60 exhibitions and has served on the faculties of SUNY Buffalo, Emory University, and the University of Colorado at Boulder.
