Welcome to ACC Leisure Services
COVID-19 POLICIES & PROCEDURES:
The Leisure Services Department is carefully monitoring COVID-19 conditions. Here are some of the things currently in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure and spread:
- Adjusted hours of parks and facilities to allow for staff to work in alternate schedules
- Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting measures, focusing on high-touch areas
- Face masks to be worn
- No competitive play permitted
- No large groups or gatherings
- Social distancing required
- Temperature checks for staff and participants of in-person programs
All parks and facilities are open, except Morton Theatre.
Due to COVID-19, the Leisure Services Department may determine that programs need to be cancelled or adapted to a virtual activity. Registrants will be contacted.

Program Accommodation
The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department offers Therapeutic Recreation programs, services, and activities that are accessible to all individuals with disabilities. Leisure Services supports and encourages opportunities for inclusion in all programs. Adaptive programs are available to provide individuals with disabilities a modified experience for recreational success.
