Imagine: Art by Clarke County Students

The Lyndon House Arts Center presents a colorful winter exhibition, IMAGINE, showcasing Clarke County School District’s children and teen artwork. This biennial exhibit will feature nearly 200 students from the 2014 and 2015 school years. This year's artists, from prekindergarten through 12th grade, explored the theme, IMAGINE, by creating both abstract and non-representational works in many different materials.
To document the exhibit, there will be a full-color catalog printed with photographs of all the works in the exhibition. These catalogs are being provided by First American Bank & Trust, and will be given to each student artist as a keepsake of the event. The bank is also sponsoring the opening reception. “First American is pleased to continue to sponsor the Clarke County School District’s biennial art exhibit,” said Bobby Heath, president of First American Bank & Trust. “This exhibit showcases the talent of Clarke County School District art students, and the commitment of the dedicated teachers who inspire them. We encourage all Clarke County residents to visit the Lyndon House to see the pride these young artists have in their community.”

An opening reception on Sunday, November 15, 1:00 - 3:00 pm will celebrate these young artists’ accomplishments.
