Come see CONNECT: Art works by Students in the Clarke County School District. Make holiday inspired crafts. Get some shopping done. Enjoy musical & theatrical entertainment. Eat cookies. Get a picture with Santa!

The event includes music and activities for the entire family. The studios will be open for seasonal hands-on projects led by the Lyndon House Arts Center’s Teaching Artists. The seasonal celebrations are intergenerational, so bring your family members and friends!  .

As the Clarke County School District Student Art Exhibit is on view, our performers represent some of the extraordinary youth talent from our area. At 11 am, the Georgia Children’s Chorus will delight us with song, 12:00 will see students from Athens Creative Theater perform short scenes, at 1:00 pm we are happy to host the Athens Drake School of Irish Dance and to finish the afternoon, please come to see the Gifted Performing Ensemble dancers of East Athens Educational Dance Center. 

And, don't forget!  Santa will be at the Arts Center from 12:30 - 2:30 pm.  Come have your picture taken with St. Nick!

The galleries will have the Clarke County School District Student Art Exhibit, “CONNECT”, on view featuring over 250 works of art in many mediums. A favorite exhibit for our area, these works, created by Pre K to 12th Grade young artists is accompanied by a full color catalog available for friends and family to purchase.  

Holiday shopping will be available at the Deck the Walls: Handmade for the Holidays, featuring works by local artists in pottery, painting, and seasonal crafts.  Festive treats will be available.

The Ladies Garden Club will have the Ware- Lyndon Historic House all decorated in live decor in the spirit of a Victorian Christmas.
