The Lyndon House Arts Center is pleased to announce the opening of the 41st Juried Exhibition.
Our Juror, My Jock Reynolds, Director of the Yale University Art Gallery, had his work cut out for him!
A record number of artists and works of art came through the doors at the Arts Center for two days
in January. Jock reviewed 933 works including photography, painting, printmaking, collage, video,
sound, sculpture and more, by 366 Athens area artists. This annual anchor show features 228
pieces in all mediums by 171 artists.

Jock Reynolds assigned 10 Merit Awards, 4 Merit Prizes and a number of Honorable Mentions.
He selected awards for those long standing named recognitions such as the L. David Dwinell
Award in Visual Arts, the Ed Lambert Award for a work of fiber and the Jim Strawser photography
award. The Lyndon House Arts Foundation, in recognition of retiring founder, Nancy Lukasiewicz,
has named an award in Fine Craft in her honor. The Arts Center Choice Award is given to an
emerging artist included in the 41st Juried Exhibition. This honor comes with a solo exhibit in
The Lounge Gallery.
