This intersection improvement project was completed in 2015. Work included constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Tallassee Road and Whitehead Road, upgrading drainage systems, a bio-retention pond and adding curb and sidewalk throughout the project. The Pilgrim’s Pride driveway was re-aligned further away from the intersection as part of the project.

The project work began on Tallassee Road within the property of Pilgrim’s Pride with the installation of sanitary sewer and storm drain structures and pipe as well as road widening of Tallassee Road.
