The failed Olympic Drive culvert was located at 1150 Olympic Drive.
Over 2" of rain in the area on January 4, 2023 caused flash flooding that undermined the road and culvert system and caused it to collapse.
Previously a metal pipe culvert built approximately 50-60 years ago, the new culvert is a concrete structure that was started by a contractor as an emergency replacement project in April 2023 and opened in fall 2023.
