Project Summary: This project replaces the sewer line that extends from Gatewood Place and runs up Turkey Creek for approximately 2,000 linear feet (LF), where it terminates. The line serves houses on Gatewood Cir., Lakeland Dr., Lakeland Ct., Westgate Dr., Oakwood Ter., Lake Vista Way, and parcels on Jefferson Rd. The line is exposed in many places and has settled due to creek erosion. The topography and terrain make this a problematic sewer line to design. There are several stream crossings needed to accomplish this replacement. Stream and river crossings require the approval of the Army Corps of Engineers and Georgia Environmental Protection.
