Water Business Office Adjusted Hours for COVID Response:
The Water Business Office (WBO) is open for in-person transactions, M-F from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Effective September 6, the WBO lobby occupancy is limited to 10 people maximum. All persons entering an Athens-Clarke County facility, including the Water Business Office, are required to wear a facial covering or mask over the mouth and nose at all times when indoor.
Customers feeling sick, experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or recently exposed to someone with COVID-19 are asked not to visit the WBO. If you need to pay your water bill but have COVID-19 symptoms or concerns, several options are available: online credit card payments, mail, online with an e-check, bill pay through your bank, or one of two drop boxes located at 124 E. Hancock Ave.
