Responsibilities

Facilities Management is responsible for repairs and maintenance of Athens-Clarke County buildings employing the following trades: electrical, heating and cooling, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, and general building maintenance. In addition, they provide project management services, including: contract management for new construction, life cycle replacement, and facilities maintenance contracts. Facilities Management also provides administrative service plans, coordinates and carries out all facilities maintenance, repair, and renovation functions.

• Maintains over 2.1 million square feet of facilities
• Executes more than 9,000 facility management work orders annually
