As directed by the Mayor and Commission or as part of Standard Operating Procedures, such as park-land acquisition, ACCGov conducts a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, and where appropriate a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment or other, limited site investigations or reviews.
These activities are typically overseen and/or directed by independent and credentialed environmental professionals. Site assessments and environmental investigations are conducted in accordance with established federal regulations, rules, and guidelines.
These evaluations help determine and/or identify potential site contamination and guide ACCGov’s responses and cleanup efforts.
