How to Recycle Used Cooking Oil

Never Put Used Cooking Oil Down the Drain!

Collect and store used cooking grease or oil in a portable or disposable container. Residential used liquid cooking oil can be taken to the following locations to be recycled free of charge. It can also be stored and when it hardens, you can dispose of it in the trash.

  • ACC Landfill at 5700 Lexington Road
  • Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) at 1005 College Ave
  • Middle Oconee Water Reclamation Facility, located off of South Milledge on Will Hunter Road near the UGA softball and soccer fields
  • CLOSED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION - North Oconee Water Reclamation Facility, located on the North Oconee Access Road off of College Station Road
