Sub-Project 3: LED Retrofit Lighting

Project Details

LED lighting retrofits for government facilities focusing on converting light bulbs over 30 watts and fixtures over 90 watts to LEDs.

Completed sites include:

Lay Park (141 fixtures retrofitted), Fire Station 5 (58), Fire Station 6 (61), Fire Station 7 (72), Meter Management (49), Police - West Substation (56),  Fire Station 8 (93), Simon Michael Building (19), Civic Building (62), Fire Station 9 (106), Fire Station 4 (96), Fire Station 3 (110), Streets & Drainage (93), City Hall (165), Tennis Center (57), East Athens Community Center (8), Airport Fire Station (20), Transit Maintenance Shop (71), Park Services (44), Park Planning (12), and the Airport Flight Center (58). Approximately 73% of the funding or $73,000 for this sub-project have been expended.  Rebates continue to be secured against the cost of this work.
