Project Information
This segment of the MLK Greenway Extension will begin at the North Ave/MLK intersection and proceed to 1st Street/East Broad Street. The trail traverses along the eastern side of the North Oconee River.

TSPLOST Project #11 - East Athens MLK Parkway Oconee River Greenway Trail Project Statement

This project will provide for capital improvements for the continuation of the Greenway Trail along the Oconee River, generally in the vicinity of North Avenue to 1st Street following the Mayor and Commission approved Greenway Network Plan, as may be amended from time to time. This project is a continuation of the TSPLOST Project 05 Oconee Rivers Greenway Project.
