Mini Camp
Registration begins March 18 at 9am for ACC residents and March 20 at Noon for Non residents.
Mini-Camp is held at Sandy Creek Nature Center. 4 sessions will be offered. 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Early and late care are NOT available. SCNC Members receive a 10% discount.
June 14-16 “Rainbow Connections” What colors are inspired from nature? We will find out as we visit water, learn about animals, and have lots of fun finding colors that connect us to nature.
June 28-30 “A Bug’s Life” What is that crawling across the ground? Come find out and we get down to Earth with all kinds of bugs. From flying to swimming, we will visit different bug habitats to get a safe look at what it is like to look at the world through the eyes of a bug. Be prepared to visit the water during this week.
July 5-7 “Wetland Wonders” Prepare to get wet during this week dedicated to water fun. Explore the creek and pond and what lives in the water.
July 19-21 “What If I had…” What if humans had teeth like a beaver, feet like a duck or hair like a porcupine? Explorers will visit with a few animals to learn why animals have these adaptations.
