Prior to designing a project, PUD Engineering helps developers find important information such as whether water and sewer are available to the subject property, whether these systems have adequate capacity for the proposed project, and how much available fire flow exists for the development.
PUD provides helpful tools such as a map of ACC’s water and sewer mains, water quality reports, and a schedule of connection fees to help developers plan their developments accordingly.
All developments that contribute to the water and/or sewer system must submit for a water and sewer capacity evaluation. Which is an average 2 week turn around.
After plans have been officially approved and stamped by Planning staff, the applicant will need to separately apply for a Utility Line Extension permit through PUD. Please refer to PUD’s permitting overview section for details in the permitting process after Plans Review.
