Overview

• During your permitting stage, the Fire Marshal’s office will be performing multiple inspections along the way to ensure compliance with current building codes, specifically for projects with sprinkler systems. There are two inspections required for such projects during the permitting process: hydrostatic test, and an 80 %/Coverup Sprinkler Inspection.
• To schedule these inspection, individuals are directed to call 706-613-3365. While efforts are made to provide prompt service, staffing limitations might result in inspections taking up to 5 business days to be carried out. A checklist is provided to assist in preparing for this inspection, detailing what aspects will be assessed.
