Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful (KACCB) is awarding grants to Athens-Clarke County non-profit organizations to aid in beautification and sustainability initiatives. The KACCB board will award a total of $4,000 in grants each year. Grants are for the support of sustainable efforts for your organization. Preference will be given to grants for materials that can be reused for multiple years and the support of outdoor gardens. Special consideration will also be given to proposals from applicants that have not received funding before. Funds may not be used to cover salaries, consulting fees, or indirect administrative costs. An organization cannot receive the grant more than two times in one calendar year. Additionally, if an organization applies for the grant to fund phases of a project (over the span of a number of years), the grant will fund up to (but not beyond) $1,000 of an individual project.
