This year, we have opted to discontinue the Green Life Expo. We do hope to have some sort of free environmentally focused tabling event at some point in the future, but as we all know- future get togethers are uncertain at this point. Contact email@example.com if you are interested hosting or tabling at an environmentally focused spring event for the public.
If you are an Athens sustainability organization, we do plan on hosting the Green Life Awards as usual! Tentatively mark April 22, 2021 on your calendars. The plan is to have a virtual program for the awards presentations and a outdoors, socially distanced happy hour pick up of the physical awards to celebrate. The ACC awards have set a deadline of March first for our award nominations.
We are also going ahead with the student art competition and awards, but these will be held separately from the adult portion of the awards.
Stay tuned for more awards details and registration.
There will be no 2021 Green Life Expo.

2021 Theme: “Renew, Reinvent, Rejoice!”
How do you Renew, Reinvent, and Rejoice to stay green? Is it by composting, recycling, conserving water and energy, or keeping our community litter free? We encourage you to create artwork (painting, drawing, and sculptures), short video (30 seconds-1.5 minutes), take a photograph or write a poem to demonstrate how we can leap into sustainability. A form must be attached to each entry.
Check Back for Entry Form!
