Jump Rope for Heart

JUMP2Our 7th Annual Jump Rope for Heart this year during National Heart Health Awareness month was a huge success! Thanks to the hard work and generous donations of family and friends, we were able to raise $815 for the American Heart Association bringing our total to over $1,660.

Jump Rope for Heart is a community service learning program of the American Heart Association. It teaches kids:
  • the importance of developing heart-healthy habits:
  • that being physically active can be fun;
  • that raising funds to support cardiovascular research and education helps save lives in their community and across the country.
Millions of students have learned jump rope skills while learning how nutrition and physical activity can help them live longer, healthier lives. Jump Rope for Heart also promotes community service by teaching kids how to help others.

We encourage everyone to visit the American Heart Association's website to learn more about how to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle and prevent heart disease. Thank you for your support! Stay healthy and active!
