Project 16: Bus Stop Improvements
The project upgraded and improved major transit stops along the Athens Transit Bus System routes. The improvements for these transit stops were evaluated for their specific needs. Improvements include:
- Bicycle racks
- Bus pull-off to allow traffic to have a clear lane while the bus is loading and unloading
- Installation of proper signage, a paved pad, benches, and a covered shelter
- Landscaping

Project 17: Athens Multimodal Transportation Center
This project consisted of constructing a new Transit Bus Transfer Center for ACC buses, UGA buses, and intercity buses. It included the addition of shared parking with the Classic Center, a commuter rail platform, a kiss and ride drop-off area, a pedestrian bridge connector, and on-site infrastructure such as access roads and utility upgrades. It also included necessary off-site improvements to East Broad Street and Foundry Street.

Project 18: Bridge & Guardrail Improvements
This project rehabilitated, repaired, and performed maintenance of bridges and guardrails throughout Athens-Clarke County.

Project 19: Bicycle Transportation
This project planned, designed, and constructed a comprehensive bicycle route system by utilizing existing roadways and constructing new bicycle-friendly bridges in Athens-Clarke County. It has connected principal attractions with residential areas through a series of on-street, interconnected routes. The new routes allow for safe and efficient travel of bicycles with particular focus on the area within a two-mile radius surrounding the University of Georgia and the downtown area. The project included installing necessary bicycle route signage and the analysis, design, and construction of the river crossings at the Atlanta Highway and College Station Road bridges.

Project 23: Local Road Improvement Projects
This project advanced the identified road projects in the Athens-Clarke County Commission approved Long-Range Transportation Plan and the Transportation Improvement Program through conceptual design, engineering, right of way acquisition, and construction. Funds were used as a local match to leverage state and federal funds, including county contract funding. This project was a continuation of the SPLOST IV program.

Project 24: Sidewalk & Other Improvements

Project 25: Intersection Improvements
This project improved intersections that were identified in the ACC Commission approved Long-Range Transportation Plan and the Transportation Improvement Program. All of the intersections were in areas where there were existing safety, operational, and/or congestion concerns. This project is a continuation of the SPLOST IV program.

Project 26: Downtown Infrastructure Improvements
This project constructed, renovated, and repaired various infrastructure and made improvements on the streetscape within the Central Business District. This included remediation of known and suspected utility deficiencies, milling and resurfacing streets, repair and replacement of curbs and sidewalks, and the replacement and installation of new streetscape fixtures, landscaping, and artwork. This project is a continuation of the SPLOST IV program.

Project 27: Neighborhood Traffic Management
