Registration Renewal 

Motor Vehicle Registration renewal is available online as well as by phone. Convenience fees are associated with both the online and phone payment options. 

If you have changed your address you will need to contact the Motor Vehicle Department prior to online renewal or renew by mail requesting an address change.

Renewing Online

To renew your vehicle registration online you will need the Renewal Identification Number or RIN. This number is located on the Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice sent to you from the Georgia Department of Revenue. 

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or E-check (electronic check) are accepted payment methods. Please follow the instructions on the above site to renew your registration.

Renewing By Phone

To renew your vehicle registration by phone, please call 1-877-496-0249. 

You will need your Renewal Identification Number (RIN) located on the Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice.
