Stopping Service

Canceling Water Services
When ending service, it is the account holder's responsibility to contact the ACC Water Business Office to terminate service. The account holder remains responsible for all consumption charges, fees, and invoices at the premises while the account remains under the same name, even if the account holder no longer resides at the property.

We process disconnect service requests Monday through Friday and can schedule up to 14 days in advance. We do not disconnect on standard holidays, weekends, or after normal business hours. We can schedule disconnections by calendar date only.

You can cancel service online, by phone, or in-person.

Online

If you have opened a Click2Gov account for paying your water bill, you can log in to your online account to submit a request.  Upon receiving the request, the Water Business Office will contact you and verify account ownership.  A 48-hour notice and forwarding address are required to stop service.
