2. Commercial Recycling Verification Form

   Athens-Clarke County requires owners of all commercial properties to have an approved recycling plan on file (Sec. 5-2-14 (i)). Verification may be completed by submitting photographs of your recycling as detailed below on this form. Final approval will be determined by the Commercial Recycling Specialist.    The purpose of this verification is:

   1. To demonstrate that your business is recycling. Your pictures must show that recyclable items are being placed in recycling containers and not in the trash. This is why we ask for pictures of the inside of the interior AND exterior collection of trash AND recycling. Please take pictures of your bins with a typical sampling of your waste and not when they are empty.

   2. To educate and to help set your program up for success. This is why we ask for the exterior of your bins AND inside. I am looking for opportunities to recycle more and to recycle right. I am also looking for clear identification of your containers as I can assist with signs and stickers to help label them appropriately.
