The Athens-Clarke County Police Department (ACCPD) Internship Program is a valuable learning experience for currently enrolled college and university junior, senior, or graduate students interested in a criminal justice, forensic science, or related career. The length of the internship is one quarter or semester as determined by the student's college or university, with the concurrence of the ACCPD.
ELIGIBILITY
The program is open to students interested in a criminal justice, forensic science, or related career who are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited college or university. Applicants must also meet the following criteria:

Note: A conviction will not necessarily bar you from an internship. Each conviction will be judged on its own merits with respect to time, circumstances, and seriousness.

Describe your work history beginning with your current/most recent job. Include military and volunteer experience.
Give a brief biography or history of yourself. Begin with your past, bring yourself into the present, and project yourself into the future. Tell about significant experiences and what you have done with your life so far. Tell about your hobbies, special interests, and any other subject that "zeros in" on your individuality.
