2. School Yard Litter Gitter Program

   Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful will provide tools for classes wishing to complete cleanups. Schools can borrow tools for a one time cleanup or reserve a set to be kept at and shared throughout the school for the entire school year. Bins will include grabbers, safety vests, and trash and recycling bags. Pick up and drop off can be provided. 

   In return, we ask that teachers report the number of cleanups, including number of volunteers, hours, and a count of the bags of trash. Each cleanup is eligible for a credit for the Green School Program.

   For cleanups done OFF of school property, KACCB can help identify an area in need of a cleanup and provide pick up of the collected trash and recycling.
