Items Permitted in Carry-On Baggage

  • Eyelash curlers
  • Nail clippers
  • Safety razors
  • Syringes (with documented proof of medical need)
  • Tweezers
  • Walking canes and umbrellas (once inspected)

Wrapped gifts will have a high probability of being unwrapped and inspected. If possible, please place them in your checked baggage or leave them unwrapped should you decide to carry them through the security checkpoint.

Please limit the number and type of electronic equipment you carry with you. This includes cellular phones, pagers, laptop computers, CD players, electronic games, etc. The necessity of screening these items could create delays in your check-in.

Items Prohibited from Aircraft Cabins

The following items must be transported in checked baggage or risk confiscation and possible questioning:

  • Cutting instruments of any kind and composition, including:
    • Any device with a folding or retractable blade
    • Carpet knives and box cutters (and spare blades)
    • Ice picks
    • Metal nail files
    • Metal scissors
    • Straight razors
  • Baseball / softball bats
  • Corkscrews
  • Golf clubs
  • Hockey sticks
  • Knives of any length, composition, or description
  • Pool cues
  • Ski poles
