Security

Notice

The following are listed as a quick reference guide only. As security requirements change frequently, please check with the TSA or the Airline for the most up to date Security requirements.

Security

The aviation community is hard at work to make your travel experience safe and with as little inconvenience as possible. The added requirements of safety and security will impose some new constraints. Your patience and cooperation with these changes will make the difference in how quickly the aviation industry recovers.

The following guidelines have been in effect since October 10, 2001, per the Federal Aviation Administration.

Preparing to Travel

Please note that airlines are allowing only one carry-on bag or backpack and one personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop, etc.) per passenger.

Remember

At all times, follow the following:

  • Do not leave bags unattended
  • Report any unattended items in the airport or aircraft to the nearest airport or airline employee
  • Do not carry anything onboard the aircraft for a person unknown to you
