Brief Summary: On December 5, 2023, the M&C approved the Community Partnership Program (CPP) process that would provide General Fund grants to eligible community partner agencies through a competitive process, in order to support achieving the goals and priorities identified in the FY23-25 Strategic Plan that specifically benefit ACC residents. Managed by the Housing and Community Development Department (HCD), the first iteration of the CPP RFP process took place in Q3 FY24. M&C awarded funds on May 7, 2024 to the agencies outlined below.

Educate Athens: will hold 4 meetings with 20 agencies; 20 employers will receive training on 2nd Chance Employment. House Athens: will hold at last 4 meetings with 20 agencies; will support development of Athens Homeless Coalition. |
