World Water Day, held on March 22 every year since 1993, celebrates water and inspires action to protect water resources. It also occurs during the EPA's WaterSense Fix a Leak Week. What better way to protect our water resources than to find and fix leaks?
Join the Athens-Clarke County Water Conservation Office and Athens-Clarke County Library to celebrate water on this day. Stop by the Library between 9-11 AM for information on finding and fixing household leaks. There'll be water-themed goodies too! Bring the family for a water-themed children's program with a story & craft from 10:30 AM - 11:10 AM.
