Costa Building

Image Unavailable

The Costa Building on East Washington Street was built in 1910 by the Costa family, who operated a ice cream parlor in the space for over 40 years. It was later purchased by the local government as part of the City Hall campus and renovated through sales tax funds as part of SPLOST 2011 Project #32.

The building re-opened in August 2025. It houses ACCGov’s Housing and Community Development Department, People and Belonging Department, and Economic Development Department. One exterior wall features the Hot Corner public art mural with future public art planned.
