MACORTS 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan - Closes March 31, 2024

The Madison Athens-Clarke Oconee Regional Transportation Study (MACORTS) is developing its MACORTS 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTD). This plan sets the goals, objectives, and strategies, while also identifying specific projects to address the transportation needs within the Metropolitan Planning Organization area and guides transportation investments. This survey will remain open through March 31, 2024.

Lexington Road Tax Allocation District Community Improvements - Closes March 31, 2024

ACCGov's Economic Development Department and the Lexington Road Tax Allocation District (TAD) Advisory Committee will host two open house sessions and an online survey during March for residents to provide input on items they would like to see constructed within TAD boundaries. The survey is open through March 31, 2024.

Police Communications Public Comment Portal - Closes April 3, 2024

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is scheduled for an annual web-based and in-person assessment as part of a program to achieve Communications accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards. As part of the web-based and in-person assessment, agency employees and community members are invited to offer comments on the Central Communications Division by accessing the CALEA Public Comment Portal. The portal will be active through April 3, 2024.

Future Land Use Plan - Closes April 30, 2024

ACCGov will host a series of public input events and an online survey as part of the Planning Department’s continued efforts to update Athens-Clarke County’s Future Land Use Plan. Events and opportunities for public input will take place beginning March 21 through the end of April 2024. The online survey will be open through April 30, 2024.
