Art

Have You Seen It Yet?

A Lot More Than It Seems art exhibition is currently on display through October 15 at the Lyndon House Arts Center (LHAC).

Each year during the Juried Exhibition, the Lyndon House Curator selects one up and coming emerging artist for a solo exhibition.  David Froetschel was selected for this honor and his work is currently installed in the :LHAC's newly renovated North Gallery.

A Lot More Than It Seems is a fitting title for the collection of Froetschel’s artworks. With structures found at thrift stores and imagery taken from fiction, he balances between order and chaos, dreams and reality, imagining what could be and depicting “a lot more than it seems.”

All exhibitions are free of charge and open to the public.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Gallery hours are Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  LHAC is closed on Saturdays when there is a University of Georgia home football game.  Masks are required.

For more information, please call 706-613-3623.
