Mission Statement

Leisure Services promotes lifelong recreation, cultural, environmental, and educational opportunities for Athens-Clarke County’s diverse communities. We contribute to Athens’ health and wellness by providing connections to parks, facilities, programs, and community. 

Program Accommodation

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department offers Therapeutic Recreation programs, services, and activities that are accessible to all individuals with disabilities. Leisure Services supports and encourages opportunities for inclusion in all programs.
