Mission Statement:

ADA Accessibility: Leisure Services Department facilities are ADA accessible. If you have questions or concerns about accessibility at any Department facility, please call 706-613-3800.

Program Accommodation: The Leisure Services Department encourages and supports inclusion of individuals with disabilities in all programs. If you would like to participate and need accommodation, please call 706-613-3800.  Please note: accommodation requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to program start date

Holiday Hours:   Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department facilities and parks will be closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Facilities and parks will re-open Wednesday, December 26 with regular hours of operation. On New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, all park grounds will operate under reduced hours of 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with all facilities closed. Regular hours of operation for all parks and facilities will resume Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
