While attending Cedar Shoals High School in Athens-Clarke County, Candy participated in the Work-Based Learning program, serving as an Administrative Intern in the Human Resources Department during the 2019-2020 school year. Candy received her high school diploma in 2020 and served as an Assistant Poll Manager during the 2020 primary run-off election.
Candy is experienced in strategic communication and team environments and possesses skills in document translation, Microsoft Office software, and data analysis. Her future goals include earning a degree in public administration or pursuing child and family social work.
Through her efforts with A-Corps, Candy hopes to improve her leadership skills and to network with leaders in nonprofit and local government sectors while giving back to the Athens community.
