    June 15, 2020 - October 31, 2020

    Let’s get beautiful Athens! We challenge you to complete your own Trashercise workout (walk, walk/jog, jog, run; trail, road, or wherever!) and keep your neighborhood clean. Bring a bag, some gloves or a grabber, and clean up your favorite exercise route. Share a photo of your favorite way to exercise and collect trash at #TrasherciseAthens. When you are done, report your cleanup online and Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful will send you a special prize! Reserve tools and report your cleanup online at www.keepathensbeautiful.org or contact carlos.pinto@accgov.com if you’d like to borrow a grabber or gloves or need some bags.

  2. KACCB Dirty Dance Raffle

    August 29, 2020, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Virtual

    This event will raise funds for KACCB’s mission of working toward a cleaner, more beautiful environment. We can’t meet to Dirty Dance in person this year, but we want to keep the fun going and raise funds for Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful projects! The KACCB board has put together two amazing gift baskets filled with gift certificates and goodies to help you support local business AND KACCB. Tickets are one dollar a piece and can be purchased online via paypal, through a KACCB board member, or by making an appointment to visit the KACCB office. Sales will end August 28th at midnight and we will randomly choose the winners on August 29th.

    Any photographers out there? Stormwater Staff will be starting to put together the fourth edition of our Stormwater Calendar soon. If you'd like to submit a water or nature-themed photo to be considered for the 2021 calendar, please email it to stormwater@accgov.com with the name of the photographer, along with a brief description of where, when, and why it was taken. It might get published in our calendar!
