“Summer Skies” is planned for Saturday, June 15 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. What is visible in our night sky during summer? Join us for a planetarium program about our winter skies and discover stories about Taurus and the Pleiades. Register online for this session
“Moon Madness” is scheduled for Saturday, July 20 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. You'll be over the moon as we explore our natural satellite. Watch a moon fly by, visit the moon's surface and get a surprise during this moon presentation. Register online for this session
“As the World Turns” is set for Saturday, August 17 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Don't get dizzy as we learn about how the Earth spins on it axis and orbits the sun. Compare views from the past to views from today. Register online for this session
The program fee is $2 for an Athens-Clarke County and $3 for a non-Athens-Clarke County per session. Online registration is underway at www.accgov.com /leisure by clicking the “Nature” tab. This program has an admission fee and is not scholarship eligible. Pre-registration is required. All participants must register. No children under five years of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
