- The ACCGov desires to solicit Pre-Qualification Applications in accordance with the Georgia Local Government Public Works Construction Law (the “Georgia Public Works Law”) from responsible Construction General Contractors.
- Responsible General Contractors are to provide all construction, materials, equipment and labor to complete the Sanford Stadium Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Improvements Phase 1 (Project) as generally described below:
Installation of approximately 580 linear feet (LF) of 36-inch ductile iron pipe gravity sewer line and appurtenances in areas generally located near the Oconee Hill Cemetery. The planned open-cut and aerial sewer construction activities form an alignment composed of three primary segments of sanitary sewer, discussed from east to west: - East Segment. The first leg of the alignment begins at an existing manhole connected to a 54-inch diameter ductile iron pipe sewer trunk line. The manhole is located within an ACCGov utility and greenway easement. This segment is approximately 25 LF and installed via open-cut methods.
- North Oconee River Crossing: The planned alignment crosses the North Oconee River and connects to a proposed manhole on the west bank of the river. The 36-inch restrained joint DIP carrier pipe will be housed in a 54-inch steel casing pipe on the portion of the alignment spanning the river. The aerial span will be supported by driven steel and concrete structures. This segment is approximately 210 LF.
- West Segment. The final leg of the alignment at the proposed manhole on the west side of the river crossing and traverses property owned and maintained by the Oconee Hill Cemetery. This segment ends at an existing manhole and is approximately 370 LF.
