IMAGINE: Art Works by Students of
the Clarke County School District

This biennial exhibit, sponsored by First American Bank & Trust, will showcase nearly 200 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade who all explore the theme, IMAGINE, by creating both abstract and non-representational works in many different materials. Facebook Event

The Lounge Gallery: 
Drawings by Adrienne Kitchens

Adrienne Kitchens, recipient of the Director’s Choice award from the 40th Juried Exhibition, will exhibit her cut paper drawings and collages in the Lounge Gallery. 

Kitchens is an artist and educator currently living and working in Athens. She earned BFA degrees from UGA in Painting and Drawing and Art Education in 2013. She works in her home studio in addition to teaching Introductory Art at Cedar Shoals High School. Facebook Event

Lunch and Learn: Publicity in the 21st Century

We team with the Athens Area Arts Council for monthly series focused on professional practices for artists. Introduction to the Potter's Wheel

8 Tuesdays, January 12 – March 1, 6:00 – 8:30 pm

We are excited to have a new instructor, local potter and educator Carter Gilles, teaching this winter. Open to all levels of experience. Basic techniques will be demonstrated, special exercises will attend to more advanced students. Everything from cups, mugs, plates, bowls, pitchers and vases, will be explored. Sign-up for your online account to register

Watercolor - Painting from Life

The amazing painter, Katherine Dunlap is joining us to teach a class that will be of interest to anyone wanting to start painting and drawing. This class will introduce beginning watercolor techniques used to create life-inspired paintings. Sign-up for your online account to register.
