Bridge Improvement Study - Closes November 23, 2025

The purpose of this study is to assess and evaluate five existing bridges for replacement and/or rehabilitation. This analysis will build upon previous work, which justified the selection of bridges. The goal and objective will be to screen each of the individual bridges and surrounding sites to identify three bridges that present the highest need for replacement and provide the highest benefit-cost ratio.

Greenway Network Plan Update - Closes November 30, 2025

The ACCGov Leisure Services Department and Oconee Rivers Greenway Commission (ORGC) are seeking comment on recent changes to the Oconee Rivers Greenway Network Plan. The Oconee Rivers Greenway Network Plan is a living document that guides the future of the greenway system of Athens-Clarke County.

North Avenue Tax Allocation District Community Improvements - Closes November 30, 2025

The Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov) Economic Development Department and the North Avenue Tax Allocation District (TAD) Advisory Committee will host two open house sessions and an online survey during November for residents to provide input on items they would like to see constructed within the TAD boundaries.

Athens in Motion Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Update - Closes December 7, 2025

The ACCGov Transportation and Public Works Department invites residents to provide input on future bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure improvements. This community input will help shape the update to the Athens in Motion (AIM) Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan first approved in 2018.
