Coffee Together: Lead Safe and Healthy Homes
Hi everyone,
Coffee has long been a way to bring people together to learn and share ideas. Our Coffee Together Series continues that tradition by offering a relaxed space to learn from local experts in public health, housing, and healthy homes.
We invite you to join us for the first session this Thursday, November 6 at 10:00 AM at the Lyndon House Arts Center – Community Room (211 Hoyt St., Athens, GA).
Our guest speaker, Philip Elliott, District Lead & Healthy Homes Coordinator with the Georgia Department of Public Health, will share practical information on Healthy Homes and Lead Poisoning Prevention, including signs of lead poisoning and what to do if you suspect your child may have lead poisoning.
This is a FREE event, but we asked that you register so we can anticipate attendance.
☕ Coffee will be provided.
