3. 150 OCONEE STREET– NEW CONSTRUCTION


Request:  New construction of a six story building and parking deck with commercial space at the ground level along Oconee St and 5 levels of market-rate apartments above. The residential portion is proposed to have 83 units with 172 bedrooms. The bottom four stories will be clad in brick, have balconies, brick banding and step back from the street at the second story. The top two stories will be clad in metal and have elongated windows to emphasize a more contemporary verticality. The applicant is also proposing street trees and landscaping between the building and Oconee St.
