Important Dates:

Submissions accepted: Tuesday, January 7, 2025 (beginning at 10am) - January 24, 2025 (ending at 11:59pm)

Application clinic: Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 12pm-3pm

Exhibition on view: March 13, 2025 - May 10, 2025

Opening reception: Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5:30pm-7:30pm

The Juror

We’re thrilled to announce the juror for our 50th Juried Exhibition, Michael Rooks, Wieland Family Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the High Museum in Atlanta.

Known as an art curator dedicated to community building and engaging audiences across generations from every walk of life, Michael Rooks joined the High Museum of Art as Wieland Family Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art in January 2010. In 2024, he was promoted to Wieland Family Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art. In addition to his responsibilities at the High, Rooks served as commissioner and cocurator of Workshopping: An American Model of Architectural Practice at the U.S. Pavilion, 12th International Architecture Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia in 2010 and is an independent writer.

Michael Rooks will be in attendance at the 50th Juried Exhibition opening reception on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Submissions for the 50th Juried Exhibition will be accepted ONLINE ONLY.

Submissions will be accepted from January 7, 2025 through January 24, 2025.

Juried Exhibition Application Clinic

Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 12pm-3pm

There will be an in-person, one-day, application clinic at the Lyndon House Arts Center for anyone who needs assistance photographing their work or filling out the online application.

This clinic is free and open to the public, no registration is required. Drop-in anytime between 12pm-3pm.

We will have a station for photographing artwork and a station for submitting your application on a computer with staff and volunteers to help you.

PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING WITH YOU TO THE APPLICATION CLINIC:

Saved on a USB as separate files:
- A brief artist statement (optional)
- An image list for each artwork stating the: Title, Medium, Dimensions, and Price of each artwork
- Up to 3 jpeg images of 3 separate artwork OR bring up to 3 artworks in-person to photograph here
A credit or debit card to pay the $35 application fee online
- no checks or cash can be accepted
