Spring Program Online Registration ContinuesOnline program registration is underway for spring programs. All registration takes place at www.accgov.com/myrec A diverse selection highlighting the arts, environmental science, recreation, sports, and holiday events are planned for adults and children. Individuals must establish a free online account at www.accgov.com/myrec Payment may be rendered using an American Express, debit card, Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa, or a MasterCard or Visa gift card. Sounds Great!UGA Baptist Collegiate Ministries presents Disney’s High School Musical on Stage! at the historic Morton Theatre! The musical centers on the blossoming relationship between Troy, a high school jock, and Gabriella, the new smart girl at school. Full of catchy songs and exciting dance routines, the show explores issues of friendship, first love, and acceptance. Performances are scheduled for Thursday, February 8 at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Tickets are now on sale. "Fantastic Friday" at Bishop ParkFridays are for fun at Bishop Park! "Fantastic Friday" is open to ages 10 months to 4 years along with a parent and/or caregiver. Come in and enjoy the facility in a relaxed, clean and non-committed environment every Friday. An instructor supervises the fun while a parent and/or caregiver lead their little ones through amazing obstacle courses. A parent or caregiver must remain with the child at all times. Advance online registration required. No same day walk-in registrations are accepted. The program takes place from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. and has a fee of $7.50 ACC residents and $11.25 Non-resident. "Palentine's Night "on February 14Sandy Creek Nature Center will present Palentine's Night on Wednesday, February 14 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Grab a friend or come solo and enjoy a night of fun. There will be crafts and snacks, have some coffee and chocolate, and then end our night with a planetarium program. The planetarium program will consists of tragic/humorous stories. The stories will focus on friendships and betrayal.

Get Your Tickets!The East Athens Educational Dance Center (EAEDC) presents its annual production of “Dancing through Light” at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24 and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25. This annual performance is a family tradition and a favorite performance in the Athens community. This production will pay a special tribute to the legacy of Lois Thomas Ewings, the late founding EAEDC Facility Supervisor.
“Dancing through Light" is a showcase of dance highlighting the gifted students enrolled in East Athens Educational Dance Center’s Accelerated Programs. Featuring ballet, modern, tap, African and contemporary dance; dancers will perform choreography that will inspire and uplift. The performance will include students from age seven to young adults and professionals performing at a high level of expertise.
All performances take place at the Morton Theatre 195 W. Washington Street, Athens GA 30601. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 the day of the show (pending availability). Group tickets are available. Tickets are available online. For more information, please call 706-613-3771.

Summer Camp Registration Begins March 16The Leisure Services Department summer camp registration will begin Saturday, March 16 at 9:00 a.m. for ACC residents. Non-residents may register starting Monday, March 18 at noon.

Camp listings will be posted February 14. Take a moment and review the diverse selection of mini camps and day camps planned for the summer.
