Green Life Exhibition

The Green Life Art Contest is an annual art contest geared towards K-12 students that falls under the larger umbrella of the Athens-Clarke County Green Life Awards. Organized by several ACCGov divisions focused on environmental education and sustainability, the Green Life Awards recognize environmental leaders in our community, and the art contest has been a piece of this program for over 10 years. 

All submissions are due by 5:00 pm on Friday, February 24th. To access the Green Life Art Exhibition application, visit https://www.accgov.com/DocumentCenter/View/89865/Green-Life-Exhibition-Entry-Form-2023-Fillable?bidId=. Submissions that are selected will be displayed at the Lyndon House Arts Center between April 1st until April 29th. There will be a closing day reception on April 29th at 2:00 pm at the Lyndon House Arts Center.

As part of our education program, the ACCGov Stormwater Management Program offers activities and presentations to classrooms, educators, after school groups, scout troops, clubs, and summer camps. Activities are aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) and can be tailored for a variety of age groups.
