Disparity Study
Closes October 1, 2022
accgov.com/disparitystudy

The Disparity Study, led by MGT Consulting Group, is evaluating ACCGov’s procurement and contracting to determine the absence or presence of discrimination in its contracting. One key aspect of the study is to gather anecdotal and qualitative evidence of discrimination within ACCGov’s purchasing process, if any. Businesses are strongly encouraged to participate in the study by providing their experiences doing business or attempting to do business on ACCGov contracts, either as a prime or subcontractor, minority, or nonminority firm.

Vendors are asked to complete an online survey as part of the ongoing study. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes and should be completed by the company's owner, CEO, president, vice president, or other decision-making authority with in-depth knowledge of the company. Responses to this survey will be combined with all other businesses who respond for an overall analysis and used only for the disparity study. Individual information is kept confidential.

Closes September 30, 2022
accgov.com/broadband

ACCGov is working with an engineering consultant to research and assess internet service throughout the community as part of SPLOST 2020 Project 22 - Broadband Connectivity Enhancement Project. Part of the research includes a public connectivity and broadband survey. Residents are encouraged to take the survey at their homes while connected to home Wi-Fi.

The survey will help gather information around Athens-Clarke County about technology needs, costs related to existing and future Internet services, resident satisfaction with services, and lack of internet options. If a resident is connected to the internet through a broadband connection, the survey will also perform a speed test of their existing connection. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
