Disparity Study Virtual Community Engagement Meeting

Thursday, April 14, 2022
10:00 AM - Noon

The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government (ACCGov) has commissioned a disparity study to evaluate and analyze purchasing/contracting spend with minority and women businesses by ACCGov to determine at what level minority and women businesses are winning contracts or subcontracts. The study also includes qualitative data research to identify successes and/or barriers that impacts firms’ ability to win contracts or subcontracts.

MGT will conduct the study within the legal framework as established by court rulings
to determine the absence or presence of discrimination in contracting by ACCGov, vendors contracted by ACCGov, and in the private sector.

Businesses are invited to attend to learn more about the study and to provide accounts of their experience doing business or attempting to do business with the Unified Government or its vendors.
